Tax Day Action – April 15

What: Leafleting When: Monday, April 15   Where: Federal Building in downtown Seattle, 915 – 2nd Ave     Time: 11:30 – 1:00
Join Seattle Anti-War Coalition on its annual Tax Day Action to raise awareness of how our Government spends our tax
dollars and the enormous amount that goes to the military.
There is no better way to inform the public about where
our tax dollars end up in the federal budget than in a pie chart that graphically shows how
Congress decides where to distribute tax revenue in the annual discretionary budget.
We’ll be handing out this budget at the federal building.

This action is also part of the Global Day of Action on Military Spending, which is a world wide
effort to expose the enormous amount of money the U.S. and other nations spend on their military. Event Leaflet pdf

Resist U.S. Coup in Venezuela

U.S. Hands Off Venezuela!

Please join us this Tuesday, Feb. 5th at 11 am at the Downtown Seattle Fed. Bldg, 915 2nd Ave. for our "1st Tuesday" anti-war protest? In addition to our usual singing, meeting and marching, we will provide an update action flyer about Venezuela. Please bring your own sign if you choose; signs will be available, too. Bring your friends, family and anyone who wants to find out how to prevent the next war and stop endless wars.

The only purpose is to further U.S. control and expansion of its empire and to change the regimes in those countries.  The result has been the blow back of international terrorism.
These wars of choice serve only to enrich the wealthy elite and the political establishment, who receive enormous amounts of money from the arms industry.  All o…
